Jessie grew up in the southside suburb of Frankston and moved to the city to study medicine and a Masters of Public Health at the University of Melbourne. She has worked at various hospitals in Victoria such as the Austin, the Western, Echuca and Mildura Hospitals, gaining experience in a variety of areas including mental health, women’s health, paediatrics, aged care and emergency medicine.

Jessie enjoys working in general practice and seeing patients across all age groups and backgrounds, and has a passion for health equity and preventative care. Other areas of interest include gender affirming care, adolescent health and mental health She has previously worked at headspace, and has completed training in trauma informed care through the blue knot foundation, and the Sydney Child Health certificate in paediatrics. She is currently a registered provider of Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTOP), can perform iron infusions and can insert and remove implanons.

When not working you can find Jessie spending time in her veggie patch with her chickens, baking or catching a gig in Melbourne.
